Opens on wet vetiver, settles into rain on stone, and dries down to temple incense.

Squat smoke-blue glass, heavy in the hand. Coconut and soy wax, cotton wick. Wash it out once the wax is gone and bring it back for a refill.

Let the first burn reach the edges of the vessel, usually two to three hours, so it never tunnels. Trim the wick to a quarter inch before each lighting. Keep away from drafts, and never leave a flame unattended.
